Do your elements and your chart agree?
Your element result is already here. Add your birth details and you get both readings side by side — and, more usefully, what it tends to mean when they point in different directions. The test below is only needed if you arrived without one.
These two numbers are not two readings of the same thing, and they are not supposed to match. The element test asks twenty questions and distributes 100% across the five: it describes how you say you move through the world. A Four Pillars chart counts eight surfaces — four stems and four branches — and its total is always 8: it describes what your birth data is structurally weighted toward. One is self-report. The other is not. Where they differ, the difference is the information.
Five elements · twenty questions
Which element do you move with?
The five elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water — are an old Chinese framework for describing how people move through the world. Answer twenty questions about what you actually do, and see the shape that comes out.
It takes about two minutes. There is nothing to sign up for, we do not ask for your email, and we never ask you to type anything.
