The relationship
The element that acts on the Day Master, with matching polarity, so pressure arrives at the same tempo and meets direct resistance. Traditionally rendered as "seven killings", and treated by classical texts as the most dangerous of the ten — a real hazard unmanaged, a real source of strength channelled.
How it shows up
Prominent where people perform under load and take charge when nobody else will: crises, competitions, turnaround work. Unbothered by conflict, and impatient with those who are.
Where the cost is
The cost is intensity that has no off-switch. Pressure becomes the default setting, rest looks like weakness, and the same force that wins the situation exhausts the person in it.
What keeps it in proportion
Resource is the classic answer — support and reflection give the pressure somewhere to go instead of straight back out.
